By Hana · Last updated: 22 October 2026

As of October 2026, our top pick of these four is Hiblendr Juice Cup Ultra (3rd Gen): the biggest cup, the highest stated power (240W at 21,000 RPM), the most brand-stated blends per charge and a body you can rinse under the tap.

We compare the "ultra blender" many shoppers ask about, Juice Cup Ultra, with three models sold through official Malaysian brand sites: Ninja Blast BC151, Tefal Lightmix and the Xiaomi Portable Blender. If you are still deciding what matters, start with our portable blender buying guide.

Hiblendr makes Juice Cup Ultra. We have listed each brand's own figures and the cases where another model may suit you better.

Four terms used in this comparison

  • IPX6: protected against powerful water jets; not rated for soaking or submersion.
  • Brand-stated blends per charge: the maker's own count; ice and frozen fruit lower it for every model.
  • mAh: battery capacity; more mAh usually means more blends, but a stronger motor uses it faster.
  • Tritan: a BPA-free, shatter-resistant plastic used for blender cups.

Juice Cup Ultra vs Ninja Blast vs Tefal Lightmix vs Xiaomi at a glance

Among the four portable blenders we compared on official Malaysian brand pages, Juice Cup Ultra has the largest cup (500ml), the highest stated motor power (240W) and the most brand-stated blends per charge (up to 20). Ninja Blast and Tefal Lightmix cost less and have dishwasher-safe parts; Xiaomi doesn't show a price.

Where Juice Cup Ultra leads

  • Largest cup of the four (500ml).
  • Highest stated power: 240W at 21,000 RPM (only Xiaomi also states watts, 45W).
  • Most brand-stated blends per charge (up to 20).
  • The whole unit rinses under the tap (IPX6).
  • Upgrades to a 2L jug with HiJug Max.
  • Lighter than Ninja Blast (about 650g vs 0.79kg).
  • Longest warranty stated on a brand site here, and a Klang Valley store where you can try it.

When another may suit you better

  • Tefal Lightmix costs about half (RM169) if you only blend soft fruit and shakes.
  • Ninja Blast and Tefal have dishwasher-safe parts.
  • Ninja Blast is RM30 cheaper (RM299 vs RM329).
  • The 300ml cups (Tefal, Xiaomi) are smaller to carry.

Which should you buy? (Choose X if…)

  • Choose Juice Cup Ultra if you blend ice or frozen fruit most days, want the biggest cup (500ml) and the most brand-stated blends (up to 20), and want to rinse the whole blender under the tap. Also if you might want a 2L jug later (HiJug Max).
  • Choose Ninja Blast if you want dishwasher-safe parts and RM30 off (RM299 vs RM329), and you are fine with fewer brand-stated blends (10-15) and a body that can't be washed with water.
  • Choose Tefal Lightmix if you only blend soft fruit and protein shakes, a 300ml cup is enough, and price matters most (RM169).
  • Choose Xiaomi if you want a light 300ml cup for small drinks and quick shakes. Check the price with Xiaomi Malaysia, because it isn't shown on the product page.

Juice Cup Ultra vs Ninja Blast: which is better?

For daily ice and frozen-fruit smoothies, Juice Cup Ultra has the edge on paper: a 240W motor, a 500ml cup, up to 20 brand-stated blends per charge and a body you can rinse under the tap. Ninja Blast costs RM30 less, has dishwasher-safe parts and states 10-15 blends, but its main body can't be washed with water.

Power and ice

240W at 21,000 RPM (Juice Cup Ultra) vs wattage not stated, 14,069 RPM (Ninja Blast). Both have six stainless steel blades and both brands say they handle ice and frozen ingredients.

Battery

Up to 20 blends (Juice Cup Ultra) vs 10-15: Ninja's product copy says 10, its page FAQ says up to 15.

Cleaning

Juice Cup Ultra is IPX6: rinse the whole blender under running water, but do not soak or submerge it. Ninja's separable parts are dishwasher safe, but "the main body cannot be washed with water".

Weight, cup and price

500ml, about 650g, RM329 (Juice Cup Ultra) vs 470ml, 0.79kg, RM299 (Ninja Blast). Juice Cup Ultra is about 140g lighter to carry to the condo gym.

Is Juice Cup Ultra worth RM160 more than Tefal Lightmix?

It is if you blend ice, frozen fruit or full 500ml smoothies. Juice Cup Ultra (RM329) has a 500ml cup, a stated 240W motor and up to 20 blends per charge. Tefal Lightmix (RM169) has a 300ml cup and 11 cycles per charge and doesn't state wattage. For soft fruit and small shakes, Tefal costs about half.

Juice Cup Ultra also comes with one year plus an extra six months of warranty on hiblendr.com.my; Tefal's page doesn't state a period. For a banana-and-milk shake before work, Tefal does the job; for mango with ice, Juice Cup Ultra is built for it.

Juice Cup Ultra vs Xiaomi Portable Blender: what's the difference?

Both brands publish wattage: Juice Cup Ultra states 240W and Xiaomi states 45W. Juice Cup Ultra also has the bigger cup (500ml vs 300ml), more brand-stated blends (up to 20 vs 12) and two 2000mAh batteries versus Xiaomi's 1,300mAh. Xiaomi suits small drinks; it recommends ice cubes under 1.5cm³ and never ice alone.

Xiaomi is lighter (about 531g on its specs page) but blends for 40 seconds, against 20 seconds for Juice Cup Ultra.

Which portable blender is best for ice and frozen fruit?

Of the four, Juice Cup Ultra states the most power for ice: a 240W Ultraspin motor at 21,000 RPM with six stainless steel blades. Ninja Blast and Xiaomi also say they handle ice; Tefal doesn't say. With any cordless blender, cover ice or frozen fruit with water or milk, keep pieces small, and expect fewer blends per charge.

Hiblendr's own guidance for Juice Cup Ultra: cover the contents with enough liquid (water or milk) and make sure the ice or frozen fruit pieces are not too big. Pour the liquid in before the ice, and add a splash more if the blades spin without catching.

"Despite its compact size, it blends frozen berries and mixed nuts effortlessly." Ericca Gan, Juice Cup Ultra review on hiblendr.com.my

Which portable blender lasts longest on one charge?

On brand-stated figures, Juice Cup Ultra lasts longest: up to 20 blends per full charge from two 2000mAh batteries, charged by USB-C in about 2-2.5 hours. Xiaomi states 12 cups, Tefal 11 cycles and Ninja Blast 10-15 blends. Ice and frozen fruit lower the count for every model, so treat these as best-case numbers.

Real use can be lower. Customer Shahril Ridzauddin wrote: "I only get maximum 6 blends before need a recharge." Hiblendr replied that harder or thicker ingredients lower the count, and recommends the supplied USB-C cable rather than fast-charging adapters.

Which portable blender is easiest to clean?

Juice Cup Ultra is the only one of the four whose maker says you can rinse the whole blender under running water: it is IPX6, though never soak or submerge it. Ninja Blast and Tefal offer dishwasher-safe parts instead, but Ninja says its main body can't be washed with water. All four have a self-clean blend.

For Juice Cup Ultra, blend water with a drop of soap, rinse with plain water and wash it within 30 minutes of use to avoid stains. Keep the tap stream away from the USB-C charging port: Hiblendr's warranty aftercare notes say not to run water directly onto the USB port, even though it is sealed. Hiblendr doesn't list any Juice Cup Ultra part as dishwasher safe. See how to use Juice Cup Ultra for the basics.

Price, warranty and where to buy in Malaysia

How much do these portable blenders cost in Malaysia?

On official Malaysian brand sites on 22 October 2026, Tefal Lightmix costs RM169, Ninja Blast RM299 and Hiblendr Juice Cup Ultra RM329 (regular RM459). Xiaomi's Malaysian product page shows no price. Prices change with promotions, so check each brand's own site on the day you buy rather than relying on marketplace listings.

Starlight White Juice Cup Ultra is on pre-order at RM299 ("Ship 23/10"); the other colours are RM329. Here is how many full charges each model needs for 400 blends, about 1.5 years of weekday smoothies:

Price (brand site) Brand-stated blends per charge Charges for 400 blends
Juice Cup Ultra RM329 20 20
Ninja Blast RM299 10-15 27-40
Tefal Lightmix RM169 11 37
Xiaomi Not shown 12 34

Our arithmetic from brand-stated figures, not a test. Ice and frozen fruit mean more charges for every model.

Which has the best warranty and after-sales support in Malaysia?

Juice Cup Ultra bought on hiblendr.com.my has the longest warranty stated on its brand's site: one year plus an extra six months, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). Ninja Blast states one year. Hiblendr also runs a store on LG2, Sunway Pyramid, but its warranty covers authorised channels only.

Under the refund policy, you have 30 days after receiving the item to ask for a return; it must be unused, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase, and the guarantee doesn't apply to the Hiblendr30 campaign. The warranty terms start from the delivery date and cover hiblendr.com.my, Hiblendr's official Shopee, Lazada and Zalora stores and authorised retailers with receipts. You can also extend your warranty, pay with 0% instalments over 3-4 months through Atome or Grab, or visit the Hiblendr store at Sunway Pyramid.

Frequently asked questions

Can I soak or submerge Juice Cup Ultra in water?

No. Juice Cup Ultra is IPX6 water resistant, which means you can rinse the whole blender under running water, but it is not made to be soaked or submerged. Clean it with the self-clean function, using water and a drop of soap, then rinse, let it dry on a rack, and wash it within 30 minutes of use.

Is the Ninja Blast dishwasher safe?

Partly. SharkNinja Malaysia says the Ninja Blast's separable parts are dishwasher safe and the blender can self-clean with a 30-second cycle, but its main body cannot be washed with water. Juice Cup Ultra takes the opposite approach: no dishwasher, but the whole IPX6 unit can be rinsed under the tap.

What about BlendJet?

BlendJet's own site lists the BlendJet 2 with a 16oz (475ml) jar, a 4000mAh battery, USB-C charging and 15+ blends per charge, priced in US dollars. If you find one in Malaysia through a marketplace or a parallel importer, check who handles warranty and after-sales support locally before you buy.

Does HiJug Max work with Juice Cup Ultra?

Yes. HiJug Max is a 2L Tritan water jug that becomes a 2L blender jug when you put it on the Juice Cup Ultra base, which is handy for family-sized smoothies. The base isn't included with HiJug Max; it comes with Juice Cup Ultra. HiJug Max costs RM129 (regular RM149) on hiblendr.com.my.

Where can I try Juice Cup Ultra before buying?

You can try it at the Hiblendr store on LG2, Sunway Pyramid, or buy it on hiblendr.com.my with free standard shipping (West Malaysia 2-5 working days, East Malaysia 3-7). Hiblendr's warranty covers its own websites, official Shopee, Lazada and Zalora stores and authorised retailers with receipts, so avoid unofficial sellers.

Has Juice Cup Ultra won any design awards?

Yes. Hiblendr Juice Cup Ultra won a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025. The official Red Dot listing names Hiblendr Sdn. Bhd., Kuala Lumpur, as the manufacturer, and you can view it on red-dot.org. The award is for Juice Cup Ultra; it doesn't cover Hiblendr's other products.

Can I pay for Juice Cup Ultra in instalments?

Yes. Hiblendr offers 0% interest instalments over 3-4 months with Atome or Grab at checkout on hiblendr.com.my. Juice Cup Ultra is RM329 (regular RM459) as of October 2026, so three instalments come to under RM110 each. Check the payment options shown at checkout for the current terms.
